About Nicholas Beim
Nicholas Beim began working with technology companies upon graduation from Oxford University, first in management consulting at McKinsey and Company, then in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Company. At these firms, Nicholas Beim worked with technology and internet leaders including Red Hat, IBM, Microsoft, and eBay.
Today, Nicholas Beim works at venture capital firm Matrix Partners, where he serves as a General Partner. Nicholas Beim has spearheaded some of the firm’s most significant investments since he joined in 2000, including Gilt Groupe, JBoss, and TheLadders.com.
Outside of Matrix Partners, Nicholas Beim seeks to promote entrepreneurship in developing countries such as Jordan, Colombia, Turkey, South Africa, and Egypt. Through his position as a Board Member of Endeavor, Nicholas Beim works to identify influential entrepreneurs and help them build sustainable businesses . Nicholas Beim is also affiliated with the National Venture Capital Association, the Business Associates Club, and the Council on Foreign Relations.
In addition to his Master’s degree, Boston, Massachusetts-resident Nicholas Beim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Stanford University, from which he graduated with honors and distinction.
